Most of the world seems to be affected by bloating. Bloating is a sense of tightness around the stomach area. You may have eaten a light meal for dinner, but still get a sensation of roaming with a full and heavy stomach. Certain food intolerances and allergies may result in bloating; hence it is advisable to avoid food that cause allergies and decrease bloating. During menstruation, a woman may experience bloating which is completely normal and doesn’t persist post the cycle ends. Smoking may also affect the gut and cause bloating. Hence, it is vital to keep a track of what voluntarily enters your body. Effective Ways to Curb Bloating: One can decrease bloating by sticking to a healthy diet that is filled with fibre rich foods like apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, baked beans, green peas and barley. Hydrating your body is super beneficial to curb bloating. Consume fluids that are healthy like water, fruit and vegetable juices to combat bloating easily. If you persistently experience bloating then avoid meals that contain fatty acids, sugar, bread, gluten. Carbonated drinks should be strictly avoided as they simply add more gas into your tummy and worsen the condition. Following an appropriate body clock and getting sufficient amount of sleep will aid in your speedy recovery.
